The other is an old AccuMark Mark V that was re-barreled and restocked Into a TRR.
I would like to convert that one to a 30-378 weatherby Since it seems to be the only available ammo one can purchase at the moment.
Any thoughts?
Both are range certified.
The 30 inch tube has an average group size of .17 inches in a mean radius of .06 inches.
The 26 inch tube has an average group size of .33 inches in a mean radius of .13 inches.
They both shoot ridiculously wonderful but I am concerned with excessive Barrel harmonic vibrations, especially with my 30 inch tube. If the groups stated on the range certified documents are both smaller than the diameter of the bullet should I even be concerned, In other words do I even need to go up in contour? ?
If I do with the contour fit the stocks
