Rebarrel new CZ 550 Varmint

If I got a new CZ 550 Varmint in .308, is it practical to re-barrel it to a 1:10 twist 243AI?
And what else (besides a new barrel - duh) would be required?
This is desired because I have a CZ 527 and LOVE that single set trigger!
And who is your recommendation for this project?

Provided you order the replacement barrel in the appropriate contour, hanging it on the action shouldn't be much more than removing the old one, duplicating the barrel tennon, and then chambering/crowning/finishing.

Red, call the guys over at Accurate Innovations. They are located in Rapid and may know of a good Mauser 'smith close to you. They also make very fine stocks for Commercial Mausers that might work on the CZ 550.

Thanks for the suggestions . . . I'll want to keep the factory stock, which has all the features I like and no wear. Will see what other options may be.
