This is a series of pictures from a video I did a few years back. I did a frame grab to freeze the images. The video camera was set up down range of the deer about 50 yards. Picture quality is not great due to the frame grab (or the fact I did not do it right) but you still get a pretty good idea of what happens when a bullet exits.
The doe was at about 700 yards, and I was shooting a 338 Khan with a 250 grain SMK running about 3350fps.
