R700 factory DM to BDL?

Do any of you have any experience with converting a Remington 700 w/factory DM to a BDL? I have an action that I want to change to a bdl style bottom metal. Is this possible or do I have to look for a new stock or different action?

I would also be interested to change it to a non Remington dbm system as long as long as it would fit the factory bdl inlet of the stock of that is possible.

the Remington 700 DBM guns have the feed rail cut out on them so without replacing the action it can't be done the DBM acts as the feed rails on these guns. The BDL rifles have the feed rails built into the receiver

H-S Precisions' DBM is pretty much a drop-in. Maybe a little inletting, but very minor.

PT&G also sells bottom metal/trigger guards for DBM which are drop-in for BDL inlets.
