R-25 308 to 243

I have a Remington R-25 in 308 and was thinking I would like to have a 243 upper to go with it. Can't seem to find one. I found a 243 barrel but would rather have a compleat upper so I could just switch it out. I don't have the money to spend on one with taxes coming up but would like to get one this spring. DPMS didn't have them who else would have them?

Remington makes the r25 in 243 and 7mm-08

I have "heard" that the "black" gun mfgrs all make each one a little different so parts MAY not be interchangeable.

I would keep looking for a R25 243 upper. Or maybe another 308 and get a 243 barrel for it.

I guess I should have mentioned that DPMS builds the R25 parts for Remington, or did.

That is the first place I looked. They are only showing a barrel on their web site.

CHeck out CMMG. They have them or the components to build one.
