Quick Nighforce mil-dot question.

Instead of taping a ruler up and playing with the magnification on my scope, I was hoping one of you would help me stay out of the cold and answer a quick question.

My mil-dot 5.5-22 nxs is Mil at 22x. If I take it down to 5.5, is the space between dots 22/5.5= 4 mils? Is it that easy? Still learning.
