I have a question about the Terrapin rangefinder. When ranging does the unit give a range that is compensated for shooting at an angle, or is the range provided, the actual distance that then needs to be further adjusted using a ballistic calculator? Thanks.

I was just about to start a similar thread to this but I will go head and post my question here if the OP doesn't mind. The terrapin advertises ranging capabilities out to 2400 meters with +- 1 yard accuracy I'm guessing. But I hear of people ranging objects out to 4000 yards with them (large objects). Does anyone know what their accuracy is +- past the advertised 2400 meters advertised?
