Question about th 7mm STW

How good is the 7mm STW for long range shooting, and the 180gr Berger VLD
would be a good choice for this caliber?

Pretty good at it. Here are the approximate ballistics in a 26 inch 9 twist barrel sending the 180 VLD down range over RL33.
