I currently own Exbal software and was wondering how quickload is different. It is my understanding that quickload is more geared at reloading data than exbal, is this so? Can some of you who have quickload give me some info about the software and its usefulness. Would I benefit from having it in addition to Exbal?

One way to think of it is that Exbal is concerned with exterior ballistics and QuickLoad is concerned with interior ballistics.

This is a QuickLoad screen shot and you can see the fields and the data that you can play with and change.

Hope this helps a little.;) I wouldn't be without either one. QuickLoad is great for doing "what ifs". You can change a lot before you even load anything up but remember that it's only a computer generated output so all normal warnings about reloading apply.

QL is a program that simple as 7mm said help you with "what ifs" and saves you time and money. Basically it lets you got to the range without fireing your rifle. The only thing missing is "if" it will work accurately. While it is accurate it is not exact. But it is a program that is worth the money. It takes some time to understand it but nevertheless worth it.

If it is in your shooting budget....get that sucker..... It is simple enough for a dolt like myself to use and its predictions have been spot on for me in most instances. Oh yea it is fun to play with also :)
