Yes it was designed to be used in Rem 700 SA receivers..either SS or CM, I purchased 3 and used SS SA Receivers, after cleaning up and blue printing them..that being said I intended both to be used in DBM set ups..if u r planning a BDL set up, u have to be aware of feed lips and magazine rail issues, nothing a competant gunsmith wouldnt be able to handle.
