Got told today by PT&G that even though I ordered 9 weeks ago it won't be till at least the end of summer. So if someone has one that they can part with I need one.it doesn't need to be black

Hawkins Precision much mo better! try direct or Red Hawk rifles...I had a run of the PTG units that the latch spring wasn't strong enough for heavy recoil...talked to PTG about issue, "oh yeah we had a bad run of units for a while!" We'll send you some stiffer/stronger springs...well 6 months later I still didn't have springs. You can visably see the latch catch is a 32nds longer, on the Hawkins units...

I think that they do have a standard cancellation fee, what they call a "restocking fee" or some such nonsense, even if they never came close to shipping your item.

Nowadays, if you can avoid dealing with PT&G, you're better off doing so. It didn't use to be that way.

I agree with @Zhomeguy, Hawkins oberndorf is a fantastic alternative. Its nice to support a hardworking business like hawkins! We carry them in stock as well.

I have a spare hawken oberndorf but it doesn't fit in my stock. I do have the PT&G on another rifle and it's fits perfectly in the stock that needs it.
