Proof Sendero Light Barrel fit to Light Palma Channel?

I have a 22 Creedmoor Proof Sendero Light barrel in a Bighorn Origin action. I need a stock for it. I have an opportunity to buy a new Manners MSC-SL Elite carbon R700 SA stock, but it has a Light Palma barrel channel. The pillars are loose. Will it be difficult for a 'smith to open up the Light Palma channel to accept the Sendero Light barrel before pillar-bedding the stock? I could use your thoughts and advice before buying the stock.
