Pressure - Accumulative Effects on Receiver

Some time ago (long time ago!), I read an article on this subject and I cannot find the author, article name, where it was written. Does anybody recall this article and provide link?

The gist of the article was if the load pressure stays within the designed pressure limits of material used for the bolt and receiver, the rifle stays structurally sound within design limits. There was discussion on accumulative effects on the materials if exceeding design.

BTW everyone should read the metal fatigue section relative to the effects accumulative pressure on their receiver.

Yes. I tried to explain the "process" to a keyboard commando over at THF. He said I was full of you know what. I quit that place not long after.
