I built a new lightweight hunting rig and I want to throw together a ladder quick ladder test to find the upper end of velocity potential. I am looking for help with the charge range that I should be loading in. I usually try to start the loading in the middle of the range and work up, and I always load charges that I expect to be more than what I expect will be max, with plans on disassembling some of the cartridges.
Here are the components and available powders for the test:
New Norma 6.5x284 brass.
Berger 156 EOL
Br2 primers
Gm 215M primers
RL26 powder
H1000 Powder

What charge range would fit the bill for a ladder test?

Thanks for the help.

Hodgdon shows 51-55gr with H1000. depending On the specifics, your max load could be a bit more or less.
