I have a 300 Ultra mag that the barrel is getting close to washed. If I re-barrel, I was thinking of converting it to a 28 Nosler because with my long action, I could seat the bullets out further than I am able with the ultra mag. I had heard that I could use my 300 ultra brass to make 28 Nosler brass, which got me intrigued. I realize it probably isn't a great idea but wondered if it were possible w/o being "to" involved. I enjoy utilizing brass. I turn the necks and trim to spec's but have never had any luck pushing shoulders back that far. Any knowledgeable help would be appreciated. Carpers please follow someone else (I know it isn't the best way to go and I know it won't be easy). Just want to know if it is possible, like I was told, or how it is done. Thanks.
