Morning everyone,

Hate to do this but it looks like I may have joined the ranks of paying for something I'll never receive. Before I get the messages that tell me I should have checked more I'll say I know what mistakes I made already but everyone ive dealt with so far on the forums here have been really helpful and great so I let my guard down and payed for it. Just posting it to let others know who to watch out for.

I put a wanted add out for some sierras for my 7mm's and got someone who said they had some. Prompt responses and everything seems fine. Payed through PayPal f&f and so far haven't gotten anything except "payment received". Finally sent a follow up message and haven't heard anything in over a week. Posting a screenshot of last interaction to show who they are and dates. Really hoping something happened and it all works out. If so I'll be sure to post a written apology but so far it's not looking that way. Like I said everyone has been so great whether buying/selling or asking for information in all the forums. To the point of having conversations off forum about hunting with people.

Its sad you even have to worry about stuff like this. You never know when someone might have their account hacked so its not always just easy taking past deals into account either. Even if someone has a lot of positive feedback, I always stick to a budget of how much I'm actually willing to lose. That way if the deal goes bad in anyway Ill still be able to get my next meal.

This is the third thread regarding him.
