pinned talley rings and stiller predator action

So I*received my talley LW's with the recoil pin. Today I went to install them and the pin was quite snug. While I imagine this is by design, I am wondering what the correct way to install these is? Do I force the pin in? Do they tighten down with the screws? Or is it not going to work because of the cerakote?
