Picked it up

Picked this one up last week. I have migrated most of my rifles including this one to CF barrels. I did not have a "banger" anymore, so pulled it and put a heavy steel barrel back on it. Of course it's a 308 Win.

After a break in of 3x/clean, 3x/clean, 4x/clean, I shot these two groups. First round off paper, adjusted. Then First group to the right and adjusted for the final two. Only 6 rounds, but wanted to get it on paper. It was hot and about 1000% humidity and rain was rolling in (I'm an indoor dog now). This was a previous load on the old barrel, but me thinks she's gonna be a choota...

What kind of speeds do you see in a .308Win & 215 Hybs after break-in?

With that barrel length and a good throat design I'm gonna say 2550ish on the top end??....be interesting to see what the answer is.

With the old 20” barrel 2493 FPS.

This is 24” so we’ll see. Only 16 rounds in this one.
