Planning an anniversary trip with the wife for next summer. I would love to spend a day hunting. Are there guiding outfits there? Shotgun rentals?

I would think they have 'game farms' of sorts, google it up. It sounds expensive, may be some training or 'certification' requirements too. I bet it's a hassle.

You could always go to a firearm museum or similar, then take a side hunt in the USA when you get back.

I was stationed in Italy 1991-1995, and occasionally see Italian hunters out. They would shoot any bird. I saw a couple hunters carrying song birds, LOL I dont think I ever saw a pheasant there but I was up north in the Veneto Region. Sorry I'm no help.
