Well gents I stayed up a little later and watched the move "Into the grizzly maze" which followed the movie "The edge". I'm kinda regretting it. These more realistic situation movies end up bothering me were as typical horror movies don't. Aside from the main characters missing WAY too much it was a fairly decent movie.

Go for it! They didn't hold back too much on some of the attack scenes but not in a cheesy way like I'd say fairly realistic as to what it would look like if a 1,000lb bear was mauling someone.

LOL
Both are great movies but perhaps a bit dramatized. The Edge is one of my favorites. Sad deal for Treadwell but taking risks with wild animals large enough to rip you apart is lacking good judgment in IMO.
Around bears I speak softly and carry a .338. I just posted some pic on another thread here titled "bear firepower" where folks are having some discussion on bear medicine.

Like they say; what doesn't kill you makes you stronger.... except bears, they kill you.

In the Maze, Bart 2 does a fantastic job! Lots of good stuff on Youtube with the original bart and his trainer interacting also. And who doesn't like a movie with Billy Bob in it! Go for it!

As for Treadwell, well.., he was just a fool.
