Description:

Thinning out my collection to make room for some new barrels to fiddle with. Great stainless steel barrel and caliber for backpack hunting. Barrel with included barrel nut weighs 2lbs 12.6oz on my kitchen scale. Barrel shoots sub MOA with a variety of bullets and powders on my Bighorn Origin action. Most of it's life has been shooting relatively light H1000 loads with 140gr accubonds @ 3,060 FPS, and one season with RL-26 and the 120 GMX @ 3,250 FPS. Both loads a good bit below book max, I never felt the need to push it hard for a few extra FPS. Barrel has been very agreeable and easy to load for. Never had an issue with "clickers", even after 7 firings on the hornady brass. Barrel has always been installed with anti-seize and torqued as per PVA & Zermatt's specs.

The barrel has been on a few backpacking hunts. The barrel's condition is as shown in the photos. 350 total rounds have been fired. The largest scratch from hunting is near the muzzle. I have included multiple photos of this area. It does not impact accuracy and in my opinion does not impact the crown area of the barrel. Please review the photos and judge for yourself. Hornady FL die includes a .288 bushing which has been perfect with the Hornady brass. The Lapua brass has had the box opened but is otherwise new from the factory.
