If it was Region Y, I could fix you up, even provide the horses to help you pack out. BUT!!!! I hate it people telling me "YOU SURELY ARNT GOING ALONE' WHAT IF SOMETHING HAPPENS." I refuse to spend my life sitting on my butt cause waiting for someone one else. Everytime I've had problems is with I took someone with me. Best trips I've had were just me and my horse. I remember my last moose hunt before I retired and left Alaska. It was a boat trip where I headed up this little slough on the Big Su River. I spent 5 days watching a beaver build a ****. Never took the rifle out of camp. One of the best trips I ever had. This year I'm taking my 12 year old Grandaughter to the Big Horns for deer/elk. Depending on the weather I plan on staying 10 days. I dont think either of us care if we shoot anything or not. I refuse to waste my life because I dont have someone to accompany me on a hunt or land crusing trip. If something happens, I'll die happy, beats dying setting on the couch waiting. Like they say, I'd rather spend 8 seconds in the saddle then a lifetime in the stands. You need to talk to your wife, take the trip, and have fun. OR, take wifey.
