MI is stated to be about 1,200. I think there are 260 tags this year mix of bulls and cows. I have been putting in forever! One time tag.

Don't feel bad it took 18 years of waiting for my tag to show up !! We have around 1600 spread out over 7 or so counties...but with only around 55 Bull tags it's a miracle to ever be drawn...30 rifle, 15 archery and 10 winter roughly...not much with 100'000 applications..

It actually was harvested by a gentleman from the state of Washington...all I can tell you it was one heck of a chase to harvest him...more miles than anyone would or could ever believe an old warrior would travel..

No high fence there, just rather temporate climate, good feed, low hunting pressure, few predators, and well developed genetics!
