All the common suggestions you see on how to supposedly fight anti hunters, anti gunners, anti constitutioners etc. are ineffective and are just "feel good" tactics.
Your phone calls and letters fall on deaf ears and usually the deaf ears of staffers and not the people who actually vote against your interests.
Conservatives and Republicans unfortunately are hindered by their upbringing. They are trained from a young age by their "play by the rules" parents and churches. This fact is evident by the fact that Republican politicians are constantly getting their azzes handed to them by the Socialists. They believe decorum, civility, honesty, etc. is more important than retaining our heritage, way of life and freedoms.
If we do not dismiss these "rules of engagement" we will continue to lose until there is nothing to lose.
Once the "rules of engagement" that Obama instituted were discarded in the war on muslim extremists (Isis) the war did a 180 and their ranks have been decimated to near extinction.
The socialists are not hindered by these so called rules of engagement that the right imposes on itself and are winning this cultural war they have waged on the right.
Until we fight fire with fire no matter how distasteful it is we will continue to lose until there is nothing left to lose.
We have to organize, protest singularly, protest in mass, vote for constitutionalists not "conservatives or Republicans", boycott companies that support antis in mass etc.
peaceful protests are also a fault of our upbringing that the Socialist are not hindered by.
We all think because we are self sufficient people and that we have firearms that we will win the war in the end. Well waiting till the "end" and living by the "they will have to pry them from my cold dead fingers" is stupid and will fail miserably.
When that time comes only maybe 10% of us will adhere to that phrase and the rest of you will turn in their guns and turn tail and run.
If you happen to be one of those 10% the Socialist will then easily PRY YOUR WEAPON FROM YOUR COLD DEAD FINGERS.
If we truly want to win this war, and make no mistake this is a war on our Heritage, Constitution and Freedoms, then we must RUN FOR OFFICE and if not adopt the successful tactics of the left and expand on them no matter how distasteful or disgusting they are.
For those with children you must raise them to fight for their heritage, pay to send them to private conservative schools, do not pay for them to go to Liberal Socialist colleges, Take the time to educate them on how the Socialists indoctrinate our youth so they will recognize it.
The Socialist have been indoctrinating our youth for fifty years while we have buried our heads in the sand and they are now reaping the rewards.
We don't have much time left to win this without a civil war that we probably will lose anyway.
Ask an Australian how fast you can lose your rights. They went to bed one night and woke up to a nationwide gun ban that was voted on while they slept.

Truth. They took there battle from riots in the streets to teaching in the schools and universities in starting in the late 60's and early 70's. Smart move and it's paying off. It ain't over though. Parents have to do their part.
Just teach them HOW to learn, not WHAT to learn. There are movements in some state legislation's to do just that.

Vote, join active associations, write letters, make phone calls. Talk to co-workers about what is happening.
Run for office! Teach your children and friends.

I do agree with most of what you say. However I have 2 children of which only my 25 year old daughter would fight if for no other reason than to see her kids safe. Unfortunately my 22 year old boy would not fight I don't think. He won't listen because his half middle eastern girlfriend born in the states is a liberal if it feels good do it kind of person. I'm very perplexed over the situation. Nothing I can do about it . It's his unfortunate choice. The only plus about her is she does believe we should have our guns for security as well as our recreational activities. I'm in my mid 50's and not in the kind of shape I'd prefer, but will do what I have to for my family and country to survive the left wing extremist attack on my God given rights. The constitution, and bill of rights are just papers. It all boils down to our rights as human beings. Not what some politicians say our rights are under man's law. Gun control and confiscation is coming whether anyone believes it or not. Just ask the residents of the soon to be 11 states with "red flag" laws. It will only get worse from here because of politicians looking out for careers and power. Not the people. Anyway that's my 2 cents

Just the other day someone I know proved beyond any doubt that even facebook is turning on the mic on his phone and listening to his private conversations in the house with his wife. He and I were talking about a hit water heater and all of a sudden a facebook add pops up about them. Like many other things he's spoken to others about. If they can do it, big brother is doing it better. I've written to the white house and our state senators and representatives several times. Talk to people all the time, and nobody wants to listen. They say I'm a conspiracy theorist. But the facts are well in public view. Just too many sheep with blinders on and if they aren't immediately affected, they just don't care. Someday they will regret their lack of attention when their rights are gone. I just wish the president or at least the Republican Senate would remove Obama's UN small arms treaty from the table. If it ever passes the second amendment rights we are all sharing now will be gone. And soon after the rest of our rights. I believe the left is waiting to vote on it until the Senate and presidency are democrat controlled so it will. But no one talks about that one.

Colorado , Illinois, and new Mexico. Illinois counties have declared themselves 2ND amendment sanctuary counties and new Mexico and Colorado are following suite. People are starting to push back.

And how are we showing and voicing our solidarity from the states that are not immediately in as much jeopordy. Being an NRA member is not enough by any stretch of your imagination. All rebellions start with an idea. Ideas grow into action.......let's hear some REAL ideas that all of us can put into action so we can be heard and seen in our solidarity with those states in jeopordy and in defense of our constitution. I have long been aware and have voiced my concern of the long term agenda of the lefts tactics and strategies to strip us of our rights. I spent 30 yrs as a Proffesional Firefighter. While on duty I often voiced my concerns that the Socialist lefts agenda was anti American. As you all know the IAFF (international association of firefighters) leaders are 100% in the lefts camp. Although rank and file firefighters split at about 30% Dem and 70% Rep nationally. I constantly was in heated conversations with left leaning brother Firefighters over the Socialist agenda. I was accused of bein nuts, stupid and seeing "black helicopters" throughout my entire career.
Almost all of my fellow retired firefighters NOW AGREE I WAS RIGHT. My fellow Firefighters we're following the Unions directions on politics for 2 reasons.....greed & ignorance. SELF BEFORE COUNTRY. It was true that it was easier for the union to get more money, benefits and concessions for firefighters from the Democratic Party but at a terrible cost to the country in my opinion. Many political seats were awarded to socialists due to Firefighter votes throughout the country.
Herein lies the problem and challenges we face.
The majority of the country lives by the WHATS IN IT FOR ME code.
To overcome that code reguarding attacks on our liberties is a daunting task that will only be achieved by us educating the ignorant and we can't do that by only venting to like minded people on a like minded forum.
Don't withdraw into your tribe, infiltrate other tribes and educate as many people as you can as often as you can. For it is people who vote who ultimately will either save or give away our freedoms.
This war will be won or lost at the ballot box. Socialist Dems without power are just another group of wackos uttering blah blah blah.
Your children, grand children and every future citizen are counting on us, it ain't just about us.
