One lucky guy!!

Good god, that was nasty. Wished I knew more about that.

I probably would have had started puking immediately after kissing my own ***.

Crap! Could you imagine that! And to catch it on film that is unreal! I hope that I never see that in person!

He's lucky that didn't come back and slap him in the face. What would you have to have in your barrel to do something like that?

That would have certainly ruined a good hunting trip.

No kidding, I'm thinking a wrong slip on the trail somwhere and pack the muzzle with mud, or maybe got packed up with needles from the trees as he was walking through the bush... exactly why I have a bore snake in my pack, it only takes a second to check and clean your bore.

If there was something stuck in your bore how do you propose you would push it out with a bore snake?:D

Well you got me there. All depends on what it is I guess. Maybe my point was just that it only takes a quick second to have a look, I always do.

There is something off about this video. First off, I have videoed several hunts and can tell you that on every one, the camera was not focused on the rifle, it was focused on the game being taken.

The camera was set up on the rifles muzzle like they expected something to happen.

Second, how many of you out there would take a shot at an elk, have your rifle barrel banana peel on you back to the forend of the stock and then run over to your buddy to see if he was going to shoot the elk.....

Somethings off, I have to throw some kind of BS flag on this one. Looks like to me that they knew exactly what was going to happen as the camera was focused on the barrel the entire time and never down range at the animal they were hunting. That seems VERY odd to me.

Exactly why I put electrical tape over my muzzle.

I know what you mean about the video being a bit off Kirby, but you have to have a HUGE pair of really hairy ones to take the shot, with no protection, hoping that the barrel was going to split without blowing your hand off or blowing up in your face.
I'm inclined to believe it's real.

I personally tape my barrels to stop this. I have heard of people taping their muzzle breaks, but have not seen it myself.

Stu.
