OBT and Clamp on Muzzle Brake

Does the OBT node change when you add a clamp on brake? Is that the new length of the barrel or do you use the old?

A change in barrel harmonics (due to MB add) has the potential of changing POI. When describing barrel length, it's the original + MB length, but that's just me.

Even if the length stayed the same the additional weight affects the harmonics.

Depends on what you call "barrel length". Unless I am mistaken, by law adding something to the end of the barrel doesn't change the barrel length unless it is permanently attached. Example: adding a flash suppressor to the end of a 14.5" M4/AR15 barrel to make it 16" legal rifle length. Or taking my AR pistol and adding my suppressor to it so that I can make it 16" rifle length to add a butt stock. Neither is legit.

And yes adding anything to the end of the barrel can/will change harmonics, this can change poi and group size with given load.
