Nosler Trophy Grade 270 win 130 grain COAL

Bought some Nosler TG 270 win 130g Part and AB. Upon measuring them I found that the COAL is 3.218 or 3.225. The odd part is when looking at Nosler load data they list tested COAL at 3.320. Why would they not load their factory ammo to the COAL suggested in the load data? That's a 0.170" jump to the lands in my rifle. Maybe some rifle magazines are pretty short? I can load to the lands and still have 0.150" clearance in the magazine in my R700 DBM.
