nosler thinking about a 6,5 cal accubond

Just received an answer from Nosler indicating they will produce a 6,5 cal accubond but they are still thinking about its weight.

POP, you seem to be in touch with the Nosler people,tell them to go for a 140 grainer ¡¡¡

I'm guessing that you won't see a 140gr as their initial offering. There are just too many hunting rifles in .264" that aren't twisted for a bullet that heavy.

I think that a 120 or 130 would be a good weight , light enough to get moving real fast yet tough enough to hold together.
although the 140 wouyld make for a great LR bullet for bigger critters.

I can't weight till my 260 gets done

I believe its going to be a 130g. To bad, if I owned a .264", I would want the 140g as well!

My vote is for a 140 gr. BC .55 or higher.

Well, swift has the 150 in 7 cal. nosler the 140 and 160 accubond; swift made the 30 cal 180 scirocco and nosler went up to the 200 accubond; swift has made a 6,5 cal. 130 scirocco so natural evolution would be -hopefully- a 140 accubond /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif
