This spot produced about 40 so far this year, along the Mohican River in Ohio the GH's are dug in along the edges, they bolt from the edges into the tall beans before you can get a shot, and they disappear. Happened several times today, still hoping some will pause on the edge before going into the beans, the path is from 8 to 10 feet wide mowed, the 17 hornet was never fired. Will try again Thursday. I'm set up 200 yards away watching that mowed strip it goes completely around the 75 acres, the owner going to talk to a farmer down the road and see if I can hit his hayfield, also along the Mohican.
