Got the new Monarch X scopes and they look very good. Some cosmetic changes from the Tacticals, but nothing too drastic. The turrets are similar to the originals from an initial review, crisp clicks and nice ergonomics. Twelve moa to a revolution which is a change from ten I believe. This probably denotes a positive change as far as manufacture goes.

No bright markings or eye-catching stuff on the tubes. New this year are flip-ups from Bushwacker that are softer, stretchier than Butler Creeks. Still have my Mildot Master instruction sheet and a coupon for a free Mildot Master.

These scopes are going into the field real quick, will keep you guys informed. Looks like about 52 moa Windage and Elevation in the 4-16 and 80 moa in the 2.5-10.

That is enough to reach out aways with some of my toys.

My 5.5-16.5 monarch does have 12 min per revolution. Curious to see how the monarch x will preform.

Great! I will wait for your non-bias report. I'm really impressed with my 2.5X10 Tactical. I believed they're superior than Leupold in all aspect. I'm hoping that these new monarchs will be just as good or even better.
