Nikon xl ii spotting scope 16-48x60

Anyone have one of these and how go you like it. Haven't really been looking for a spotting scope, but have been wanting to get one down the road and got an email with these in it for $240 on sale. It actually said below cost. Have a buckmasters and a couple monarchs and am extremely pleased with them for the money. Just wondering how the nikon spotting scopes are?

Not a bad scope , I would recomend it for that price.

When I purchased mine I was actually looking for the next step up in glass. I seen this one on sale for a price that made me keep picking it up. I took it outside with comparible model Bushnell and Leupolds. The Nikon had the edge in glass. I used it elk hunting this past October and was impressed enough that I don't plan on upgrading any time soon. As a matter of fact, I would rate the glass up with our issue MK4 spotters.
