Nightforce shot with Ak-47

I went by the Nightforce booth at the shot show and they have a 3.5X15 NXS that had an Ak-47 bullet hole through the scope body in front of the power ring the bullet passed completely through the outter tube and the erector tube, the soldier taped up the holes and continued to use the scope for 3 more days.Quite amazing

I'll bet he didn't even have to rezero it. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif I love my Nightforces but I think that guy was probably full of excrement. If it went through the erector tube and was still functional, Nightforce should put that scope in every advertisement they have. The Rags will have to start using kryptonite bullets. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

I had that scope in my hands a couple of times, it is for real. Was slung on the soldier's back when it got hit. You have to see it to believe it.
