I've always just dialed. but another member gave me more information on the scope

"I have a NXS with the 1000 yard velocity reticle. You might mention if you don't get it sold that folks can go on NF webpage and find this reticle and there is a ballistic calculator that will say if their caliber fits the MV.5 reticle...."
