Night vision in front of conventional optics

Has anyone tried to put a nv monocular in front of a day scope? Was day dreaming today just wondering if anyone has tried it before

There are NVD's made specifically for that application. Not all NV will work that way. Some can be placed behind some scopes, not all NVD/scope combos will work.
