I am looking for a bolt-action with very nicely-figured walnut, chambered in 7mm Rem Mag., preferably, but would also consider other chamberings >.270 Win. This will be a gift for my father.
I'm thinking along the lines of a Kimber Classic Select or Winchester 70 Super Grade, but would consider others. However, that's the upper end of the price range I'm looking in, so Coopers, Dakotas, etc. are probably out of bounds.
It must be in like-new to excellent condition, so I'm not looking for a well-worn classic. I want decent accuracy, around MOA, but it doesn't necessarily have to be a bughole rifle.
I have cash, but also a pre-64 Win 88 .308 in incredibly good condition (which I will be listing for sale separately) if that would be of trade interest.
