Nice Mauser stock

I'm rebuilding a M98 Mauser that belonged to my wife's grandfather. As much as I wanted to use the stock he carved for it , unfortunately it's cracked through the action screw area from top to bottom. So I'm looking for a nice stock to use on this rifle. I'd prefer maple but I'm open to any nice looking wood. Spotter style shape preferably with a raised cheek weld/ Monte Carlo. I can finish the inlet/finishing work if it's a 98% blank.

Have you looked at Boyd's? Here is a maple example that I recently purchased. I bought the fanciest grade, with mild fiddleback grain. Not really more than a "AA" grade. I removed the monte carlo rollover but kept the raised comb. I also did my own fore end tip of rosewood. It came with a gawd awful orange tinted finish that I stripped off and True-oiled instead. Has good figure and very little fitting required for my commercial Mauser barreled action. At $350 it was a fair deal, but not a great one. The photo has a bad orange-y tint. The stock is much blonder than it appears...
