New to varmints....P dogs

Like to try my had at some Prarie dogs or the like. I live in Michigan and ohio is not far away. When do the seasons start and where can I go public to get started at shootin some of these critters.

Again...NEver did it before...Just a deer hunter am I...Soon to add yet another reason to hunt

Joe, have you considered going with an outfitter??
I have seen places online that advertise PD hunts, though I have never done it..sakofan..

South Dakota is the closest you'll find p dogs Montana, Wyoming next. For the first time I would go with an outfitter unless you have time to go to a good area and start asking around at the local feed mills ect.

You'll beable to find good dog shooting but might take some time.

How about groound hogs etc. I hear ohio has some good varmint hunting...Just not sure where in Ohio or what the seasons are
