Hey folks, just a quick intro about myself and experience shooting. I've shot guns since I was a kid but was always recoil shy until I got older. The only "official" training I've had is with the Air Force, and let's be real, I do IT so that training wasn't anything crazy. I'd say I'm definitely a novice when it comes to shooting but I understand the basics. I recently decided with all this free time on my hands to start shooting more for fun at the range (terrible timing with ammo the way it is). Right now I shoot a 15 year old Browning A-Bolt 2 in .308 Win and it's a pretty reliable little gun. I've probably put more rounds through it the last month (50ish) than I have it's whole life. I've killed a few deer out to maybe 100 yards with it but now living in the West of the US have decided it might be a good time to learn to shoot/hunt further. I've been reading posts on this forum for the last few weeks and decided I wanted to join in on some of the talks and get some questions answered.
