New to lr but not to shooting

I have always loved shooting and used to think 200 yards was "way out there" but over the last 4 years I have got into long range shooting and now 700 yards is not too bad of a shot. I have not attempted any long range shots on animals yet as I have not had the opportunity under conditions I would deem appropriate but I look forward to learning from this community of shooters.

Welcome to the forum! I agree that even though we can shoot at very long distances we must apply a risk factor when shooting at game animals. My personal limit at this time is 500 yd. and maybe not even that if my position and/or conditions aren't good.
