Any chance that they are making these in left hand models?

I spoke with Effie at Savage today and YES they will make a special order left handed version for the same price as a right handed model. Its a 6 week wait.

Must be ordered from a dealer.

I cannot imagine that this gun is all its hyped to be but it might be a good one for my son. Heck it just might be a good gun. Does anyone know for sure?

Dave Petzel was reviewing one in 6.5-284 on T.V. With factory ammo, Black Hills, it shot sub 1/2". With the other brand, I want to say it was CorBon, it shot right at 1/2". I thought he had the scope mounted riduculously high but it was consistent.
I forget the name of the show but it was on one of the outdoor channels. I had it recorded but my son probably deleted it. JohnnyK.
