New rifle showed up today!

My new deer and elk rifle showed up today! Really excited. Dies and scope mounts are probably a week out. Bought many components for this rifle from the classifieds here. So many peoples projects never made it, and they turned into this. I thought long and hard about what I need and like and am very pleased so far. The last rifle I had built, I listened too much to what the internet likes and ended up with a real shooter that sucks to carry and hunt with.

Specs are:
Built by Whidden Gunworks in 7mm Rem mag
Rem 700 stainless long action
Shillen select match 1:8 twist, heavy palma, fluted, 24"
Mcmillan hunter stock
Triggertech special trigger
PTG one piece bolt with spherical knob
Gre-tan striker assembly
Rem bdl bottom metal

Need dies and scope mounts for the Leupold VX5-HD 3-15x44 so I can get started with load development. I have lots of 168 VLDs and some 150 Absolute Hammers.

Sweet, sweet rifle. That caliber will definitely get the job done. You can reach and touch someone from a long way and than get arrested for touching ...harrasment is what I think they call it nowadays. Congratulations on a great rifle.
