New Remington Trigger Issues?

I read in a recent thread that Remington is having some problems with their new triggers.

My question: I just bought a used Remington LSS in 7mm RUM. I called Remington and I found out it was built 2001. Is this one of the year models that had problems?

Just FYI, I had read a bunch about the Rem trigger problems too and expected the worse when I got my 700P this summer. But I love the trigger.

Do you happen to know what year model guns were involved?

The one I just bought is 2001, so mine might have been built before they had issues.

Don't turn the trigger down below 3 pounds and you'll be fine. I found out the hard way as mine has went off when I push the safety forward and I have it set to 2/1/2#.

the new triggers are touchy.if you polish the sier it helps big time but the over travel might not be exacly like it should be but still a pull of 3 pounds is nice on them.
