Are you saying that if you have a top bolt-release Oryx and use a bottom-release Savage action, you can access it with an Allen wrench? That was not the case for me unless they modified the original design. I have a bottom bolt-release action, and they sent me a top release. It did not work, so they sent me a bottom-release version. Below is the difference between the two.

I guess not, since you have options for Savage LA/SA and Savage Axis LA/SA on the drop-down menu when ordering. However, it is best to address the issue directly with MDT.

What type of mags work in these ? And does it come with one ?

I cannot tell from the picture if they are the same chassis that is good for either top or bottom release. If so, that's great.
