New Mexico Mule Deer Hunt 2009, Unit 51

I live in Arizona and was recently drawn for mule deer in unit 51 near Chama, NM. I'm unfamiliar with the area and was hoping to scope it out but have recently had back surgery and won't be able to do my research as I planned. The hunt is October 31 - November 4th. Are any of you guys familiar with the area? Would you be willing to give any pointers or guide me in the right direction? I really appreciate any help you are able to offer!
