Hi, I'm a retired mechanical engineer, now enjoying a 'second career' as a high school math and science teacher. My dad shot competitively into his mid-seventies; I've been shooting since I was four years old. I competed in small bore rifle into my late 40s and enjoy shooting rifle, pistol, and shotgun (trap), with rifle being my favorite. I haven't done much for the past 20 years while raising my daughter; I'm now planning to get back into the sport, researching long range shooting prior to building a rifle. This site jumped out as being the most active and diverse that I've seen. I look forward to being part of this.
