Long time lurker. Always found lots of great information in LRH.
I got my first bolt action rifle at the tender age of 57 (about a week ago). A Remington Mohawk 600 in 308 Win (16.5" barrel). The plan is to go hog hunting somewhere in Florida...as soon as I figure out how to do it legally...(shows how much I know).
Currently working on the trigger, refinishing the stock, and adding a scope. I'll post a thread with some pictures of the progress. I'm also working on a 25-284 and a 222 "Remington Model 600".
