Welcome! Another Kommiefornian to keep me company. Do you shoot at one of the LR ranges in centCal or do you shoot the BLM or private land?
In any event, we have a long range match every month out at Avenal Gun Club. It's mellow, low key and still very challenging. Probably the best way to learn the sport. Check it out! I think our next match is the 18th of this month. Course of fire is 50 rounds, entry fee is 20 bucks. New guys always get squadded with experiened guys that are extremely helpful.
