Hi, I found this site while researching different rifles.
On the fence about building/buying a new gun or modify what I have.

I have a Sako L61 7 mm Rem Mag and I just purchased a McMillan Stock for it.
The gun shoots very tight groups with the bedded wood stock but I am worried about the moisture (snow & rain) while while hunting.
Question: Do I just bed the front lug, action or not at all??

Thanks for all of the great info.

I enjoy reading about the loading data & long range info.

Welcome. IMO, bed the entire action from recoil lug to tang. Can't go wrong with that plan and I've never seen a McMillan stock move due to weather conditions. They're solid (therefore expensive) and reliable.

Thanks Fear--all I need now is a gunsmith close to me.
I really like the stock. I was surprised to find one & lucky it only took a week to get it.

Thanks for the welcome & the info.
