New barrel will not thread into action

I purchased a new pre-fit barrel from Shilen for my Savage small shank rifle. It would not thread. Miked the barrel diameter and it is 0.0150" too big.

Is this too big to just knock the edges off the threads enough to thread this on or should I just send it back to have re threaded to the correct diameter?

Shilen called me this morning. I am going to go to their shop in Ennis tomorrow, with my action, so they can fix the issue. They also will engrave the barrel for me for my troubles Not a huge deal as they are going to correct the issue. Thanks everyone.
