Was out walking on the backside of my property this afternoon and started hearing baby deer 'bleats'. I started 'bleating' back to it and lo and behold out she came out of the tall grasses and walked right up to me! I kept looking over my shoulder for "Momma deer" and figured I was getting ready to catch a beating.....but Momma was nowhere to be seen. It walked to within 2 feet of me before stopping, looking at me in a startled manner and then took off running. 😁

Their eye-sight must not be very good when they're that young......I was in full view/plain sight of it the entire time as it walked towards me. It didn't 'spook' and run away until it stopped @ 2 feet away from me (right after taking that last 'up close' picture), suddenly startled by seeing me standing there and then it took off for parts unknown. 😇
